Accounts

An Account is the authenticated User in Playbooks. It is a private identity used for login, security, notifications, API keys, referrals, invitations, and attribution.

How It Works

  • Every User owns exactly one personal Workspace.
  • A User may also join collaborative Workspaces.
  • Switching Workspaces changes tenant context without changing the authenticated Account.
  • Public profiles, projects, templates, billing, usage, connectors, and merchant resources belong to Workspaces.

Individual and Workspace Context

Account settings manage private User identity. Workspace settings manage the active personal or collaborative tenant. Users do not have public profile pages; public profile destinations always identify a Workspace.

For more on seats, roles, and shared ownership, see Workspaces.

Account settings cover Profile, Security, Notifications, API Keys, and Referrals. Billing, usage, merchant setup, and collaboration are Workspace concerns.

  • For payout and verification details, see Merchant.
  • For tenant identity and collaboration, see Workspaces.
